Rob Heller founded BootieButler in 2005 with his partner Jim Woods. It is his first entry into the entrepreneurial arena. Since 2005, he has spearheaded the development of a new product to remove shoe covers, resulting in 2 patents filed to protect this technology and enable the manufacturing of this product in Knoxville, TN.
During his career, Rob has spent over 30 years in International Business serving in executive
positions for Exxon Mobile, Northern Telecom, NYNEX and Duraline Corporation. During these assignments he and his family have lived and worked in London, Singapore, Geneva, Budapest and Munich. He has served on many committees for Telecom reforms and worked to further the rollout of fiber optic networks in developing countries.
Rob attended the Citadel and University of Georgia for undergraduate studies. He did follow-on studies at American University for International Business and later completed the Stanford Executive MBA in Singapore. After his undergraduate studies Rob served in the US Army and went to Vietnam for one year where he awarded the Bronze Star for Meritorious service. During his service he was disabled which is why BootieButler is rated as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)
